Report: Linking Ready Kids to Ready Schools

The W.K. Kellogg Foundation funded SPARK (Supporting Partnerships to Assure Ready Kids) grants to link early childhood and early grades so that children are ready for school and schools are ready for children.  Governors in Arizona, Connecticut, Ohio and Pennsylvania worked with Kellogg and the Education Commission of the States (ECS) to convene Governors’ Forums to review and accelerate strategies to help children move seamlessly from the early years to elementary school and beyond.

The report and policy recommendations that came out of that process, Linking Ready Kids to Ready Schools is available on the ECS website at http://www.ecs.org/docs/4208_COMC_report_forweb.pdf
