WCGMF Discovery

Statewide Partners

The statewide partners include five core organizations - All Our Kin, CT Voices for Children, CT Early Childhood Alliance, CT Parent Power, and CT Association for Human Services.  These organizations work collaboratively to research, organize and advocate for improving Connecticut's early childhood system, and they help to support the Discovery communities. 

Other organizations partnering in Discovery include Community Conversations About Education and the CT Center for School Change. 

All Our Kin

All Our Kin trains, supports and sustains community child care providers in order to ensure children and families have the foundations necessary for future success. The organization invests in children’s first teachers through innovative teaching and learning models that support and engage child care providers from all walks of life and at every stage of their personal and professional development: from parents and caregivers to professional educators and businesspeople.

Community Conversations About Education

"Community Conversations About Education" is a valuable tool for a community to rediscover common ground, disagreements, questions, concerns and next steps. The free and open exchange of ideas in a non-threatening environment has brought hundreds of Connecticut residents to a greater sense of community and a clearer definition of their goals.
