Connecticut Association for Human Services

Founded in 1910, the Connecticut Association for Human Services (CAHS) promotes family economic security strategies that empower low-income working families to achieve financial security. Through the unique role as a catalyst and convener, CAHS works to end poverty and engage, equip and empower all families in Connecticut to build a secure future.

Among the statewide partners, CAHS has established itself as a well-informed advocate for early childhood providers. Through convening the Providers’ Caucus, a group of primarily publicly-funded early childhood providers, and outreach to independent providers, CAHS lifts up the voices of early childhood providers to the policy arena.
