2008-2009 Connecticut Kids Count Data Book
Three on a Seesaw: Balancing Early Care and Education, Families, and the Economy includes 20 town-level indicators, commentary by state analysts and advocates familiar with particular indicators, and an essay about early childhood education as a two-generational strategy and contributor to the present and future economic well-being of the state.

This Caucus provides an opportunity for Discovery Coordinators or designee to inform and be informed about the policy discussions and decisions affecting your communities. Participation on the Caucus ensures Community voice at the Early Childhood Alliance table for the purpose of community consensus on annual policy agendas. Providers’ Caucus (for providers of direct child care services)
We want to hear from you. Join us monthly to discuss early care and education issues. Come and share your knowledge of ECE, learn more about the decisions being made at the state level that will affect your services, and develop action plans that contribute to a unified provider voice in CT though the vehicle of the Early Childhood Alliance. The 2009 CONNLEAP Course is scheduled to start this September
Connecticut Leadership Empowerment Action Project (ConnLeap) is presented by the Connecticut Association for Human Services (CAHS).
The college-credit course is open to 15-20 parents and/or early care providers statewide. There is the option for Bachelors and Masters level credits issued by Eastern Connecticut State University. Course will be held in the Meriden area, with the option of child care for those in need.
